Gil Schwartzberg is an investor and a businessman. He became a founding shareholder for Skechers after having worked as a lawyer for Robert Greenberg, the founder of Skechers. He remains the sole trustee for Skechers. In the past, he co-founded Sterling Bank and served as chairman of the Loan Committee. Schwartzberg is also dedicated to cancer research and treatment. He is the former CEO and Board Chairman for a cancer treatment center called City of Hope National Medical Center. He later cofounded Lixte Biotechnology Holdings, Inc., a small biotech company that works to create better cancer treatment. Gil is currently a consultant and shareholder with Lixte Biotechnology Holdings, Inc.
